Two Cattleya orchids that is :D and a Pitcher plant using 18~70 kit lens, Capture, tripod and SB800 handheld.
All shots were 10s @ f22 with multiple flashes(3-4) from different angles.
A lot of indoor fun on a rainy day.
All feedback appreciated.

Greg

All three are excellent and show the advantages of long exposures with flash for shots like these. The last one would also look interesting with the rightmost stem & bloom on its own.

Lovely rich colours Greg. Well lit. The SB800 is a fantastic light source used well and you have used it well.

Lovely shots, particularly #3 - it the colour and shape stands out really well with the black background.
Did you grow these yourself?

Thank you all for you kind comments.

kinetic - the Orchids belong to the nursery I work for and the Pitcher plant is mine, it was its first flowering, very exciting.

Cheer,
Greg
