Singapore Storm (12 imgs)
Posted: Fri Oct 28, 2005 3:40 amHey everyone, well firstly I'd like to thank JordanP who helped me out during this storm by suggesting appropriate settings for lightning photography. I really wish in this situation I had a remote, but I made the best I could being stuck in the office and tried to capture some of the storm that was raging outside.
Just before the storm hit there was a miserable attempt at a fireworks display I caught the dieing seconds of the show.
These first few are all shown as shot.
These last two I tweak a little in Rawshooter to bring out the lightning from the sky a little more, for me it works, if somewhat crudely..
Overall I'm pretty happy with my first lightning photo's, however I did do the maths. 8 okish lightning photos out of 220 photo's taken. It isn't a very high hit rate.
