Some lovely colours, shot number two has a really interesting quality to it, I really like the shape of the flowers in #2.

All lovely shots John.
I am with the others the Masdavalia #2 is my favorite, with the Paph. #1 a close second.
We don't see Masdavalias at our local shows as we are a bit too warm to grow them, thanks for the treat.

Craig, Mic, Greg, Mark and Marco, thanks for the feedback. These orchids and the ones in my other post were my better images. The others I haven't posted are a bit cluttered with many orchids jammed close together, lots of little labels and name cards etc. It was a competition after all.

I like the black background on flowers Mic. I got the idea from looking at another member's sequence of shots. Can't quite remember who it was but I think they had a previous history into inverted things. :wink:

Oh, I nearly forgot, I need to improve my sharpening skills. You can see hallos on many of these shots. Any advice in this area would be appreciated.
