Well, i like it and maybe the colours do look a bit fake in some parts but i think it sets this picture off. I am sure other will coment but yeh i think it ok but i am not a landscape person but i think it would look good hanging on the wall.

I think there are some terrific elements to the image. The general composition, foreground interest, sweeping coastline leading to..... here is where it gets trickier the sweep of coastline gradually takes the eye from the foreground interest of blurred wave effect and rocky outcrop, really good :), but the stormy clouds are not dramatic or forceful enough to hold that interest. :(

As John mentioned the colours are a oversaturated reminding me of Velvia on steroids with a mauve mask. That aside I think the overall look has an artistic bent to it that's quite appealing IMO and possibly to add to the drama in the sky maybe a little dodging in PS to 'mood' it up a bit.

Great effort though and a nice one to frame, escapism.
cheers

This shot really reminds me of a local Batemans Bay artist, his paintings are gorgeous (I have a few calendar's of his), and capture a similar style and colouring. This shot has a lot of interesting elements that are really appealing, yet at the same time it feels not quiet right.
