I went out to Cardinia Reservoir this morning to try out the new lens. I wanted to take some photos of kangaroos and after a little walking we found a few in the grass. Both photos were handheld and have been processed. So far I'm very happy with the lens but I think I'm going to need to do some more testing.

				G'day,
Very nice... I also checked out the FOTZ magazine... Congrats! The shots are great and what a buzz... You're gonna have fun with that 80-400, I can't wait to play (ooops, test) with mine

Birddog, you're a champ!
Cheers,
Mudder

Speaking of Kangaroos. When I was down at Bushrangers Bay near Cape Schanck I was coming back on the walk and it was approaching twilight. Came around a bend and stopped dead in my tracks as there was a Grey in front of me about 6-8m away. If only I'd reloaded my F80 after the last shot I could of got a great picture.
I have the photos back from all my outings down that way. There are some great photos in the set that I took. Som really good ones from Stoney Point which I'm happy with. Shame the sky wasn't better but if I scan them in I might see if I can fix them a bit.
