seemed to be kookaburras everywhere, but not much else
At least they are an aussie icon.

Awesome photos! My pick of the two is the second one, I feel that the background in the first a little bit bright.
Any chance of some EXIF for them? In particular, what focal length / aperture? The DOF is beautiful. Canon User

both shots taken with nikkor 80-400vr @ 400 handheld
sb800 for fill shot 1 1/320 f5.6 iso 200 cropped to portrait shot 2 1/200 f5.6 iso 200 full frame normally shoot the 400 @ f8 or higher but there were branches and stuff behind that I had to blur, also the light wasnt so strong under the canopy and I needed as high a shutter speed as I could get Steve
