Found this tiny frog (1cm long) sitting on a leaf while playing around with my new Lightsphere (thanks Birdy).

1/200s @ f/6.0
D70s with Tamron 70-300 Macro at 300mm

Oh and I am impressed with the lightsphere. This was taken late this arvo with the SB800 at 45 degree tilt. And it very dark down in amongst the grass and leaves.

I really like this pic, kinda amphibious peek-a-boo. I just find that leaf on the right hand side distracting, keeps drawing me away from the frog....

You are right but he was buried right down in the foliage, was an absolute fluke to even see him there.

For flash into a dark area among foliage etc. the light seems really soft and well dispersed.
