Great series of monochromatic images, and I'm hard pressed to pick a favourite.
#1 Least favourite, it just looks a little too bright and white, almost feels like glare is escape from behind the city, finding it hard to describe.. but my eyes don't like it.
#2 Nice shot, I think this one's been handled better then the first
#3 The Cornice, I really like... small intricate detail overlooked by 100's of visitors a day, captured with a great tonal range.
#4 and #5 like both of these shots, QVB has some lovely architecture and these two are great examples
Looks like you had a productive stay in Sydney (keeper wise)

Peter #3 and #4 are fantastic. By the looks of it you got heaps of keepers from the micro meet.

Magnificant shots Stubbsy! I'm not so keen on the bright sky of #1, but the tones in the others are very beautiful. I love photo #2, and #3 is outstanding. Your eye is so good. Very inspiring stuff. Thankyou.

Thank you all for your comments.
Craig - shot details are above each pic (the skyline was taken with 24-120 VR)
Jethro - All images were PP'd in Nikon Capture using the Nik Color Efex filters as follows: #1 - used B & W Tonal Enhancer, #2, #3 and #4 - used Paper Toner filter, #5 - used B & W Dynamic Contrast filter

Number 2 is my favourite, very nice quality to the lighting, bit different to other OH shots.
The others are good too, particularly #3

Peter - As you may already have guessed, city skylines and the OH do absolutely nothing for me BUT #3, 4 and 5 are superb and take the snapshots of #1 and 2 into the realm of creativity in #3, 4 and 5

Peter,
No. 1 is better as a colour shot. I like. I really enjoy the shot of the
Opera House - looks great in B&W. Guess I enjoy the Sydney cityscapes because I am so far away from it.
Cheers
