Snow leopard

I shot this cat a few months ago at the zoo. He is always hard to get at and I had to use the 80-200 with a 2X tele convertor and a high ISO. Then had to fiddle around a little in Photoshop to make something out of it. The zoo can be quite dissapointing when the animals tuck themselves out of sight and it pays to take a bag of shmackos to liven them up.

Yeah at Melbourne Zoo we went through the small cat enclosure and we were like "wow amazing". To see 20 cages that appeared empty.

It's really good to see the quality of that 2x tele converter. Looks pretty good.
I love how it's eyes are rolled back. That cat is somewhere else.

Thats a great shot!
I wish mine had of turned out, it was rather ellusive up on the ledge.
