(Another) Shot in the Lavender

Inspired by previous springtime shots of lavender, I picked up my camera when I got home to Perth. In the months since I was home, the lavender in the backyard had started blooming, and was magic in the sunshine with the bees flying about.

The viewfinder is a great tool to see things you don't normally, and some shots are only apparent after downloading to the computer.

The first shot is great - just for the angle you used alone :D
The second doesn't do much for me, but the third makes me feel sick to look at it...lol. It must be something about the focusing on the mid section that sets me off.

The first one is just great. A bug's eye view.
There doesn't seem to be a focal point of the second one.
The third doesn't make me sick. Being a lavender shooter myself, I quite like it.

Then its just me :) When viewing thepic as a whole I find my eye is drawn to the out of focus background and I'm not sure why.

Nice Images JZA70. I particularly like #1 and certainly #3 is a beauty with the selective focussing. It really sets it apart.
cheers
