Hi Dee - i like this picture (very interesting and not "normal") - can you describe how you set it up (thanks for the exif data).

I am interested in how this was achieve too, reminds me.. I think of Aussie Daves flicking playing cards at the camera series...

shot was made on a white t shirt at 70 mm, with
d70/kit lens on a tripod.
set SB800 to repeat mode at i think it was 1/128th.
ISO was set to 1600.
shot in manual mode and used aperature of f29 to get it as sharp as possible with a slower shutter of 1/40th to achieve the movement...

PP: cropped for more of a macro look, used "replace colour" to make the white t shirt perfectly white, and increased contrast and saturation of the red dice.

p.s. it took about 25 shots to come up with this one which i liked the most and ended up using...

Great shot dee. It has a distinct stock feel, and I'd imagine it could make money on one of the stock sites if you ever did that.
I noticed and liked this from when I first saw it on flickr.
