Just returned from 3 days in Coffs Harbour.

Lovely place with plenty of photo taking opportunities but sadly also a little wet.
They need the rain  so its good from that perspective but the conditions also presented some good opportunities/conditions for the following images.

Coffs Harbour Jetty - Rain approaching

Mutton Bird Island - No birds to be seen ...Must've been on holidays!

Ray - I know Coff’s quite well and the very first shot is the stand out. The jetty taking the eye towards the approaching storm tells the story. Do I walk down the jetty? Or not! :D

Ahhhh, pictures of home...thanks Ray. It has been way too many years since I have been there. Although the Jetty is looking fancy now.

Awesome. The bright foreground is beautifully offset by the dark and menacing clouds. Great stuff.

Thanks for the comments guys,

I too like the first shot and it looks good printed as an A3.

The conditions were quite unique and was a case of being fortunate to being in the right place at the right time.
A CPL also added some depth to the colours so just a little tweek of the saturation and a little sharpening was the only PP required.
