Summer storm in Perth tonight, I wasnt really sure what settings to use so I thought I would try what people recommended to capture fireworks. This was taken on my 28 - 80mm f/2.8. Settings were manual, f8. 10 sec exposure. Is this about right for trying to shoot lightning?

Looks good cc@t! Seems like you found a good spot to shot from too, nice open view of the sky. Love the multiple prongs on this, and the settings seem fine!
