Nice pics, I think #1 is the pick, #2 & #3 are a bit dark round the subject and I think #4 needs a bit more sky directly above the rider. All are nice and sharp with good colours.

8) Bob.

Great images. I really like them. It amazes me why people do these things on pushbikes. A wall?? A Fence??? What's wrong with riding them down the road??? :) :) ;)

tell me about it i'm just glad it was too hot for his blue trackie dacks :?

Killakoala: anyone can ride em down the road and what happens if someone builts a wall on you favourite road or a tree falls across you path you gotta be able to get over it. also it makes bumper to bumper traffic fun :)

thanks guys for the comments can't wait to get some more lighting gear

The colours and overall lighting in the first one work really well. If that was your first outing with the flash I can't wait to see what you do with it once you know how to use it!!! Well done :)

cheers it is taking abit to get use to but it's coming along there 's abit more of a learning curve since it's an sb24 with the D70 so it's manual just using the histogram and watching for highlights

I like the shots a lot. The subject matter is so startling that it takes over the images, but I think they are great also. Like Killa, I am amazed people can ride like that. Great colours, did you use a polariser?

Hey Nodabs,
cool shots again.
The flash really improves the images compared to your last post.
And all those comments about why...well why not.
The things is, your shots make your sport look easy, but to get out on a bike and do any of those tricks is a different matter.
The third shot riding the fence is an awesome trick, maybe try an angle more from the front of the bike to emphasise what he is riding.
They are all good shots.
Marty

no polariser i have a little set of tweaks i use to make them look like velvia slide film.

hehe you are usually pretty right in that regard. the only way to really nard yourself is the front or rear wheel slipping unexpectadly, and you can generally feel when your loosing it and jump to the side.

hmm i see what you mean but after a while i don't look at anything in those photo's as particulary hard and i just try to make it look cool for anything hard i try to capture peak of the action etc. i'll try to put the action abit more into context.

thanks for the comments guys
