Was there fill used in the fern one?
Family photo looks nice - though I wonder how you got such deep DOF with an apparent wide aperture. It seems everyone is in focus, yet the exif shows an aperture that my brain cannot compute.

				they are all keepers...
i like the last one the best... but there is a good reason for it... my nonna past away recently and I bought a plant as a memorial for home... it is the same plant as the one you have shot...
well done.

It's strange how certain sounds or smells or objects can remind us of something else. It's sad that our lives are based on everything eventually being lost. I hope your plant grows and multiplys.

Like the second one of the fern - nicely framed - nice shape so good subject to have spotted and taken. Isn't it so often that you can walk around looking for photos and they may be right under your eyes but you just have to look at things from a different perspective to realise their potential. I think that this is called "reframing" in some fields like journalism, but a much more appropriate term in photogrpahy!
