Not a one of my pelican shots from that day were good enough to share. You have one brilliant one (the last pic) and one almost as good (the first). Did you play with the background in the last one or were you just lucky/skillful enough to get that neutral tone?

The sky in image #2 looks odd, but that may be artifacts from the jpeg conversion, but even setting this aside, this is the only one here that doesn't speak to me.

Gorgeous!! Shame about the top of the head of the pelican in the last shot... but then again... it kind of makes it more intimate and less posed...?

Great examples of seeing with the eye. You certainly have a knack for that Matt. I really enjoy looking at your work.

Nice shots Matt, however they do tend to look quite noisy.

I have added some textural elements to these images to slightly alter the "feel" of the pics. Maybe not too successfully...
