The second shot prompts a question: Why do you get green eye photographing dogs and red eye with humans?

Yeah he is a nice dog!

These were just impromtu shots! But was pleased with them! I could get rid of the brick wall but seeing as I wont be printing either of these I wont bother. Thanks for looking! I will try and get better ones next time...

Because humans have red blood, and dogs... :wink:

I believe there is a reflective layer just behind the retina of dogs, which makes the light pass the receptor cells twice (similar to what cats have). That gives them better night vision.

With human eyes you just see the the blood rich tissue light up.
