Mike, this is the sight used by the pilot to line up the horizon, also indicates 45 and 90 degrees. This is the one I come to like best:

Excellent Gerard what a unique perspective, your camera certainly shows that it can withstand some gG's
did you shoot with the 28-70
exactly what was your position in the craft it loks like it's a 3 seater

Wendell, I used the Sigma 12-24, it is a 2 seater and not built for comfort!
It was great fun and the stomach was OK, no problem, just have to be careful not to drop the camera while inverted...
