Clouds at sunset

I actually forgot I took these images.
I saw the light outside the window one day while doing the washing up, and had time to open the front door and shoot off a few frames before it got dark with the D70 and the 70-200VR.

Nice colour and shadows on lower clouds?

always love the colours of the sunset

these dont do much for me because I feel that it needs something else in the image, ground reference, a tree, something

I tried to keep the neighbour's roofline out of it. It seemed like it would have been a shame to have a characterless bunch of tiles in the shot.

Perhaps a mountain, trees or something natural would have been suitable.
I do agree that they are lacking perspective.

I agree with Avkomp. There is little in these images which appeals. No point of interest at all.
