This little hopper is about 1.5cm long and his mate is even smaller, who I did not see till i had it on screen........ they had a good feed....... Shot using an old manual 55mm micro nikkor, 250 at f8...... some unsharp mask

A very interesting image. The colour of the flower is gorgeous too and offsets the grahopper really well.

But was this an invasion of the grasshoopers' privacy? There's little difference between this image and Matt's examplar restaurant image, really.

Seriosuly, absobloodylutely beautiful. Colours, sharpness, DoF, subject matter, ... food .... it's got it all.

Nice one BP great work with such a small insect.

It's hard shooting insects with that focal length, so kudos to you BP, for getting the job done.
