Great Image Mal beautifully composed and focused. Perfect family album shot guarranteed goo gaas from mums

Great shot Mal, if I were being EXTRA picky I would like to have seen the entire face (bottom portion) we see all in focus..looks a tad soft from here...lovely shot though

This is only a small crop from the orignal. As it was taken at f1.8 I didn't have much to play with. I was going for just having the eye in focus. But thanks for being extra picky makes me think about shooting it another way next time

Mal I saw what you were trying to do and IMO it works well with the key element the eye nice and sharp.
