Buzzing around Sydney (big images)

I went for a buzz through the choppy skies of Sydney today and thought I'd share some photos.
Here's one of my mates getting pummelled by some towering cumulus. (The aircraft is the little dot in the mid-right of the photo!)
I quite like the area around Watson's Bay. I was trying to get a kind of sea, land and city shot in one. Unfortunately I got the lighthouse a bit too close to centre, plus they insist on painting lighthouses bright whites which flare up too much, but them's the breaks!
South can look quite nice. Makes you want to jump in a fighter jet and go screaming down the coast!
This one almost worked. This is from Ben Buckler Point (Bondi). I liked the way the light played on the Opera House.
Here's a water taxi trying to move Clarke Island. He didn't have much luck!
I then spent 10 minutes or so chasing jetboats. They are little buggers to follow because they zip around this way and that. You have to make sure you don't focus on them too much or you'll end up slamming into a bridge. (They seem quite clever like that.) After a while I figured out their patterns and managed to grab this shot which I will subject you to in large size!
