great shot of an aussie icon. Always amazed me how birds can twist their heads like that.

Hey I like this... Good and unusual angle, something different and as a true Kooka, looks like he's laughing, terrific... The guys with birding experience will offer tips but I like this for the pose...

Yes, the kookaburra was indeed laughing. He hardly stopped the entire time i was photographing.
Do any of the bird experts have any advice for future reference?
