Hi jaco,
I think your Bruxelles series captures the essence of the city very well. I had the pleasure of staying there numerous times when I was involved in EC funded research projects back in the 90's. Your images brought back fond memories, and also make exceptionally good use of light. One thing I wonder about, the Manneken Pis statue seemed rather lower (like eye-level) when I saw it, though it seems high on a pedestal in your shot. Has it been put up higher or did you use a really low perspective? Cheers Steffen.
Truely your usual standards Jaco, superb pictures and a pleasure to look at.

Excellent pictures. All were at 800? I noticed pronounced noise in the skies in some but not others. Pushed in PS perhaps?
I really like this one http://www.jacobel.net/pages/D200/night ... ght20.html My eyes bounce all over the place in a sort of party extravaganza. Was NR turned on? I think that the high ISO looks pretty good. Any word on how it performs compared to 5d? I'd assume not quite as well, but it would be interesting to see.
Lovely shots Jaco! Wish I could go there, but happy at present to see it through your lens! Just gorgeous stuff!
