Hi jaco,
I think your Bruxelles series captures the essence of the city very well. I had the pleasure of staying there numerous times when I was involved in EC funded research projects back in the 90's. Your images brought back fond memories, and also make exceptionally good use of light.

One thing I wonder about, the Manneken Pis statue seemed rather lower (like eye-level) when I saw it, though it seems high on a pedestal in your shot. Has it been put up higher or did you use a really low perspective?

Cheers
Steffen.

Excellent pictures. All were at 800? I noticed pronounced noise in the skies in some but not others. Pushed in PS perhaps?

I really like this one http://www.jacobel.net/pages/D200/night ... ght20.html

My eyes bounce all over the place in a sort of party extravaganza.

Was NR turned on? I think that the high ISO looks pretty good. Any word on how it performs compared to 5d? I'd assume not quite as well, but it would be interesting to see.
