I should have listened to Gary. These stupid pictures were all I could come up with last night.

I also got a head for my tripod with a bubble level, so no more screwing the camera on and off, and hopefully no more crooked horizons. I was a bit excessive but caught the wife in a giving mood, and got a new bag as well, which was nice.

As for the stupid coke bottle, well, I'll give it a few more chances, the guy got me a deal on it ($600 Can)

Thoughts are comments are appreciated.

Any scar tissue from biting your lip is not my fault.

Dooda I just love the second image. IMHO it is a stunner.

I too have this lens and so far am loving it.

The second one is a beautiful shot. :) Maybe you could trade the sigma in and get the AF-S 12-24DX  I'm sure you'd turn out some more crackers with that little beauty :)
cheers

Your distaste for the lens aside, I agree with the others - there is something very appealing in that second image, although the rectilinear distortion has given the buildings on the horizon a decided lean.

Well I'm undecided if you really think it sucks or not... but I like the shots, particularlly #2. (#1 & #3 aren't up to your usual high standards, but it's a new toy so that could just be teething problems). Regardless I look forward to your next late night escapade!

Really, I actually love #3. I like them all actually, and I like the lens (just sort of playing off of Gary's disdain for anything Sigma like). These were all shot wide open as I didn't have much time to fiddle about with the cameras NR reduction. Most of them were shot at the wide end too, which I think I'll try and shoot more at about 12-14 to avoid too much distortion on the corners.
