The first shot is amazing! Lovely work... and I hope you can get yourself one soon, otherwise the lust will drive you crazy.

Its a bloody good lens alright
![]() Nice images Tim, apart from seeming a little underexposed I really like #1, its 'busy' but perfect for the type of shot the background really accentuates the lonely bloom. By way of a little suggestion a little gentle fill flash will really help to pick up the colours even further ![]() cheers marco
Beautiful shots Tim - I'm not even game to look at the 400VR - it would mean instant divorce

Nice series! Second one is my pick. PS: Is the reason you are now game to go there is that if your equipment gets confiscated because you are trespassing ... you only lose your camera body and not a lens

Nah, nobody would try and confiscate it, i know the owners of the place.. im just shy.. and walking about with a camera and a big lens... you might have someone wander up and ask ya what ur doin.. i dont like confrontations..

The second shot does it for me out of this bunch, the lillies make interesting subjects...
Couldn't get the EXIF so wondering what sort of aperture was used on them as the DOF looks fairly deep, just wondering whether the aperture could have been opened more to narrow the DOF and isolate the subject more? Aka Andrew
