Capturing fireworks is harder than it looks...

Some great shots, and love the funny caption. Last night was my first fireworks experience and your right it isn't an easy style of photography to nail, with so many variables.

Yes, this was my first attempt at fireworks. I had a lot of trouble with blown spots. Need to close up the aperture a bit more

This shot shows the blasted street light I had to contend with.

It caused blooming across many of my shots.

Damn those street lights. You'd think they could turn them off for 15 minutes.

Great images anyway, even with the street light problems.
