Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. NYE - Darling Harbour MixWell so as to not flood the place with more fireworks pics just now, I have picked a few of the shots I took from around Darling habour before the fireworks to share. Not really a series as such, hence the 'mix', as always C&C is encouraged and appreciated.

G'day,
You asked for C&C, so here's my feeble attempt ![]() #1, Easier said than done, but would have liked to see if you could get that from a higher angle to remove the top background and just had the water. Couldn't get EXIF so wondering about the aperture? Just wonder if the background could be blurred more? #2, Not sure what to offer on this one, but was wondering whether a more distant shot might give more of an impression of the physical size of the lighthouse, not sure of what sort of image you were after with this one... #3, Wow, this one really grabs me, I wonder what he's looking at, and also wonder what the crowd is laughing at... #4, What can I say, I'll have one of those thanks ![]() #5, Mod squad is back! #6, The only thing I can think of with this one is the top right corner background catches the eye, wonder if the framing could have been a little left so the top right corner is before where the dark background ends...? Great mix of really different scenes and images... Re: the links, just cut&paste the URLs into a different window... Aka Andrew
