Great photos. It's amazing how much the place has changed since i was there last when Movie-World opened. Looking at the development and how much more it has become a tourist trap makes me not want to go there ever again. In a way, i am glad you posted these images :)

The second last with the sun and tall building is my fave of the bunch.

Hi Shane,

Some great photos there. I like the high rise building the most. Nice perspective.

Shane - great pics and a testament to the quality of the Pentax (and you, of course) :)

I'd like to say first that I'm feeling grumpy right now...

That said, #1 needs more sharpness to work and #2 needs levelling. Apart from that #2 has good symbolism, with that couple fleeing the scene...

The outstanding one is #8 (if I counted correctly), the high-rise with the sun in the frame. That's a good shot, well composed and exposed! On the technical side, I'm impressed with how well the lens copes with strong light sources, in terms of ghosting and contrast.

Cheers
Steffen.

I forgot to add, number 3 works well for me, too. The wide-angle upwards perspective and the pavers' pattern in the foeround give it some kind of "Alice in Wonderland" flair that works well with the subject.

Cheers
Steffen

thanks for the honesty 8)
1: sharpening is something that i have yet to work out how to do so i cropped that image to be able to read the LED's.

2: the road actually rises from right to left and i haven't allowed for it.

3: thanks.

8: i was really happy that it worked out as well as it did :D
