first few picture

after hvaing all my d70 equipment stolen i figured i might as well upgrade lenses so i bought a d70s and nicer lenses, I work on cargo ships and along with my passion for sailing around the lakes and the world i love to photograph them and here are my first few pictures from my new d70s :-)

I view these pics with interest as a fellow sea-going sailor. It's nice to see images from the 'other side.'

I like both of your images. The first one shows just how long the ship is and holds quite a lot of interest. The second one shows how a large barge? is tiny against the enormous loading facility. Your composition is excellent. THe second image could perhaps do with a minor white balance adjustment as the colour from the harbour lights is just a bit too orange for me.

These are great shots! Love the exposures, the composition, color and detail. Everything works well and the lighting is excellent :!:

Thanks for the comments!, im only 19 and just gettin my feet wet, and to noticing any differences, not really, the camera seems to feel the same and all but i am very happy with the addition of a remot cord :-) it works wonderful

Great shots, perfect exposure and interesting subject matter!. Sorry to hear about your stolen D70, but the upgrade even if not noticable is nice (less clicks on shutter :) )
