Here are a couple of images for comment, advise etc

Some of you may have seen them before as I've noticed quite a few people for another forum also over here.

Cheers
Rod

Rod - these are very nice shots. The early morning shot belies what happens later in the day and is very calming. The 2 shots of the lifeguard have been very well framed IMO. :)

Hi there Rod... Welcome to dslrusers.com
It's quite funny how many people from the geocaching forum are now doing photography to amuse themselves... Make sure you get along to a mini-meet one Saturday morning... It'll be good to catch up again...

Great images BTW...

All three are very nice images. The first one proves that 'Neat and in the middle' does work :)

I like all three of these - the morning light really does the place justice. I don't think that lifeguard will be saving too many more lives, but he certainly is looking hard ;)

Welcome aboard Rod, if this is the sort of quality you're starting with then I'm really looking forward to seeing your work develop!

You've set yourself a benchmark to start right here. They're nice photos.
Thanks for sharing and keep them coming.

Welcome Rod

The two lifeguard shots are exceptional. THere show your excellent eye compositionally as Chris has already said. The framing of these makes the sculpture almost seem alive. Well done.

That lifeguard needs to use more sunscreen.
