House fire Beachmere - 09/01/06At approximately 2115 pumps were turned out to a lowset house fire in Beachmere. Upon arrival crews found a brick duplex well involved, with report of possible residents within the structure, however primary and secondary searches found no occupants. One duplex was completely destroyed, whilst the second sustained heat and smoke damage. QFRS vehicles on scene were 528a (Caboolture pump), 528k (Caboolture ET), 529a (Bribie Island pump), 529y (Bribie Island pump 4x4), and 525a (Petrie pump). QAS and QPS were also on scene.
