Had a quiet christmas photography wise but here are a couple that stood out for me while pping the shots of the various family gatherings.

I managed to find time to make up a poster of the pix of my car that I posted up a little while back. Printed it up on the r1800 on a3+ and had it block mounted. Gee its a nice printer, the quality & depth of the colours it produces is beautiful. Well worth the $$$$.

Beautiful family shots Jed, or should I say 'Grandad'

JED - the family shots are excellent. The young one partially disguised is cheeky and well executed. The shot of your daughter and son-in-law could not be better. Your daughter, with happy smile looking at the camera and her husband oblivious - priceless :)

Here's some nice work!

The family pix are great, particularly the little cutie in the towel.
And you have done an excellent job with the poster of your car. Well done! :D

As Arfur Daley would say "Wot a luv'ly motor!"

Thanks for your kind words, guys. It can be hard to judge sometimes whether or not an image has appeal to others when you're so close to the subjects.

I'm very pleased with the results from the 50mm & sb800 for this type of work.

Marcotrov - used to being called "Grandad" now, but must admit to a perverse delight in addressing the ex as "Grandma"

Cheers, John
