Not entirely sure about these two - but there's something about them that I like...

Compositionally all wrong, but the colours and lighting struck me:

This one's suffering a little from over processing - I really need to back off on the sky, and it could benefit from one of Stubbsy's NIK effects :?

Its amazing that the NZers have changed a calfornian redwood plantation into a nice tourist attraction. Its a huge plantation and really nice, well captured sheepie.

They are big trees. Nice work.
As far as the second picture goes when I was scrolling down it "cropped" the sky out.
IMHO it works turning it into a pano by removing the sky. What do you think?

Another from the Redwood Forest in Rotorua - this one of a thermal stream along one of the pathways. The amazing thing about this spot is the wood in the water is not showing any signs of rotting - presumably the sulphur in the water (which seemed to be quite strong just here!) is taking care of that ;)

I like #2 and #3 Leon, but your first shot doesn't do much for me.
The colours in 2 and 3 really make me think of the northen hemisphere, I guess for good reason, as the flora is from there...:)

Like the overall feel of the second shot most of all.
