Hi everyone
end of last year I finally got to travel after a long year. I bought my D2X specificially for my ongoing personal project to shoot Paris my way, it's such a lovely place and i have longed to visit it again. I consider this series 'MY ART' with no commercial contraints or pressures just wondering around in my own time with my camera and vision of Paris. It was very cold and most of the time it was overcast and snowing but in almost a month i got 4 gorgeous sunny days and life was beautiful.
Part 1
picture perfect apartments along ile de la cite
Fountain at Jardin des Tuileries
Concentric fun at Place de la Concorde
Morning feed Place de Parvis, ile de la Cite
From Quai de Montebello, Latin Quarter
Along the Seine near Pont Neuf
Pont Alexandre III
Side of Arc de Triomphe, lone bird and street scene at Montmartre
Looking towards Notre Dame from Latin Quarter
Apartments along Quai de l'Hotel de Ville, on the Seine
At Place Dauphine, i like the symbolism in this picture, the building titled smarataine and the lone figure
Tour Eiffel through line of trees at Parc du Champ de Mars
ile st louis, conversation at Jardin des Tuileries, near Pont St Louis
exit to Rue de Rivolli at Jardin de Tuileries
more to come later

Lovely photos Wendell. I really like the 'smarataine' one with the lone figure. It just appeals to me.
Awesome memories no doubt.....

Bill

Gorgeous pics Wendell, as per usual! Reminds me I seriously need to get in and PP my pics from Paris last year! You've certainly captured the essence of Paris in Winter, looks very stark and cold, but at the end of the day you're still in Paris! I don't think I'll ever tire of going to Paris!

Great photos Wendell,
I've been waiting to see your Paris photos. Love them all, it's hard to pick but I line the one along the Seine near Pont Neuf and the exit to Rue Rivolli
Hope to be there in Sept , but most time will be spent en Bourgogne et Alsace, but will have a few days in Paris.
thanks for sharing,
André
