I figure I have made many comments in this forum but have not posted any pics.
I know this can be annoying for some.

Reasons are:

1. I shoot film, have very little scanned. (Scan what I need and delete afterwards)
2. All my scanned files which I did in one session and actually saved, are on 1 disc
3. Currently renting whilst building house, 1 disc is somewhere within 100 boxes not to be unpacked till move into new house
4. Out of photography for past 4 years and am not interested in my old images any longer. Forwards, onwards, something like that. All old material bundled into boxes to probably never see the light of day again
5. I cannot scan anything even if I dig into the boxes because LS2000 scanner has died. No intention of repair due to point #6
6. I will be purchasing a D200 which should rectify problems in the next few months
7. Once settled in new house will also post the old pics from disc

The shot I am posting here is from my hard drive and I have no other version of it in digital form bar this so could not do anything about the size. The frame I don't like but couldn't be bothered changing for such a small sized pic.

Anyway, I thought better to post something than nothing at all for the next few months. I have one more of my cat which I will get up on here soon.

Any comments of any description most welcomed.

This is Shaylee, a close friends daughter who I took some shots of whilst visiting. Kids can come up with the best expressions, it may not be to everyone's liking, but I loved it!

Hi Mark
I think your forthcoming D200 purchase will rectify your problems pretty instantaneously!
Anyway, nice picture.
Why do lots of babies have beautiful big blue eyes?
Cheers
Graham

Thanks guys and yes, she had the most beautiful blue eyes! Not manipulated in any way.
My daughter was blue till around 12 months and she is now brown after her mother, currently 18 months, baby that is! Mine are blue but I believe the brown is the more dominant so kids will often turn to brown even if the parents are one of each colour.

She's really beautiful Mark !!!
Weird huh, my parents both have really dark brown eyes, and mine change from blue to green ... think I was a changeling :)
