On a ride last Friday in the mountains the fog was so thick I could barely see 10 metres ahead. It was also raining at the time, and I didnt really want to get the camera wet by taking the pic using remote+timer with me riding into the fog, although I think that would have made for a much better photo.

Gordon - I am the biggest sucker in the world for shots of this nature.

You have captured the gradual fading of the foliage into the mist admirably - the bike adds the final touch to this excellent capture.

Beautiful image of mist and I agree with Chris that the bike adds to the photo. Perfect compositoin. Would look great as an enlargement.
