Chi and I were up, as he'd said before in his post, and while he was shooting on a tripod, getting the moon and the surroundings, I was handholding a 70-300G for the moon and leaving the 45mm pancake sitting LCD-down-lens-up to record the sky in all it's... err... starry glory... as that's something I don't often get to see quite as well living in Bondi.

This one was taken on a 24mm prime.

I can see your dirty sensor. For some reason you managed to capture ALOT more stars than I did.

Your moonshots look nice, but you managed to cut half of it off. I suggest you recompose and move the earth a little to the left to get it out of the way.

Nice shots, Leigh. I'm surprised you could get them reasonably sharp with that lens and hand held!

Leigh you should be a surgeon if you can hold a camera that still and pull off a decent shot of the moon.
