Hot day, damn good meet.

Cheers for Geoff and Bel for doing such a good job of organising it, for people for turning up, for Steffan for the filters, for Doug, Genista, Craig, Chi & Wendell for helping us gross Glen out, and for Leek for giving me a lift to a station. :)

Leigh,

None of these hold the usual 'leigh appeal', perhaps we just need to wake you up more often and get you used to the light.

Of all over them I like the shot of Glen the best, followed by the dog. I've come to inspect a different take or perspective from most of your shots, I think some of these are a little to straight down the line, (they all look a little flat to me on my LCD).

Leigh,
Is it Benro or Gitzo?

Yep, #3 of Glen is a beauty.

The shot of Glen is excellent. I think #4 has great potential too, just do it in B & W - it's quite a strong image and there is so little colour anyway I think the monochrome would give it more drama.

excellent composition on Glens image

it reminds me not of a beach scene, rather the marlborough man in a surreal vista awaiting the start or end of a day, the asymetrical placement of the sun and glen has been well thought out

the candid shot of the group walking back, i noticed most legs are halfway up from the ground, doesn't look very nice, is this intentional as you wanted to take a real life candid shot of how it was - kind of looks rushed, or were you trying to get a nice back shot where peoples feet would be tocuhing the ground but missed it? either way just wondering

i am surprised to see only 1 black and white
where are your more famous black and white treatments?
