Wierd sunset the other week

G'day

I know that us *newbies* love wasting time and film trying to take sunset photo's, and I've sort of tried not to. But the light was definately wierd a few weeks ago so I ran inside grabbed the camera and pointed.

I put the flash on to try lighting the foreground some, but that failed. I've done some playing in Photoshop but come up with nothing satisfactory.

This is the basic capture

Can you give some advise please on what PP to do (and how) in Photoshop.

I would actually make the foreground darker as it doesn't appear too interesting. The contrast of the shadow with the red sky looks good to me. An interesting coloured sky!

I agree with Marvin, make the foreground darker! The colours of the setting sun is what the photo is ALL about. Lovely pic!
