Today was the first chance I have had to use the new lens in nice bright Macro friendly sunlight.

Dropped in and took these at the Botanical Garden in Cooroy on my way past.

So far so good. I am very impressed with the lens. It's producing nice colours and the autofocus is very good. Does occasionaly hunt in certain circumstances. Really bright whites tend to be a bit of an issue. I do like the manual overide which works a treat. Bascially you just use the autofocus and then, still keeping the shutter half pressed to maintain the focus setting, you can then manual adjust and fine tune to your liking and fire off the shot. Neat :D
