After the Northern beaches meet the last week end, I decided to head out again to grab a few sunrise shots, this time at Queenscliff.

This guy happened to wander in to one of my shots, so I figured he must want me to take photos of him.

the lone fisherman is a nice image.
wonder if you could have shot it from a lower angle and produced a stronger silhouette though.

Hi Dave,

both images are great.
I'd probably attempt to PP the first image so that the fisher man
becomes a completely black sillhuette.

Cheers,

Yeah I did try for that on a few other shots, but I didn't want to get too close to him.

Thanks,

I'll give that a try a little later on this afternoon, and post the results.

Dave - Nice work, I'm a sucker for silhouettes and especially fisherman ones :) Didn't get a chance to chat with your at Dee Why, but you made it into a few of my shots good to see more Canon's out and about!

Hi Alpha,

yeah it was hard to chat to every one with such a large number of people there. Was a good turn out for 5:30 in the morning.

I'm not a canon user though, or at least not any more, not since I sold my G3.

Did get a nice shot of you though ...

Dave, very sorry for confusing you with the Canon user (maybe and I could be wrong a second time, was it wocka). I think I have a few shots of your Dave I'll see if I can dig them up.

Also I like the shot of me, and the flower again! Thanks for posting!
