Hi all,

here's a few photos from my camping trip to Tom Groggin for Australia Day.

They are from the area around Mt Kosciusko.

As usual, comments/ideas on improvements are welcome.

Thanks.

Hi Ray. We went past Tom Groggins on our way home on Friday, almost turned to go down the dirt road but decided that another dirt road wouldn't be too good for the car :)

The river looks nice and refreshing :) Did you get any of the hut down there?

Due to the weather, we found it difficult to tear ourselves away from the river.

I have done a number of trips through the area so the aim this time was just to chill.

Unfortunately, it was surprisingly hot, even at night but we made the most of it, soaking the days away.

G'day Ray,

Sounds like you had a blast on the camping trip. 3rd one's my pick :) the first photo colours are a bit weird - did you do any pp?

Cheers.

Hey Wayne, long time no hear.

Yeah I did try a bit of pp but working on the laptop, I'm having trouble with the colours. Been trying to calibrate it but not having much luck.

baboo here is my humble opion.

Photo Number one might work better as a tighter landscape crop. So that you have people / mountain and blue sky only.

There seems a little bit too much red in the second one. (Nice Pink skin, could be due to hot conditions though!)

Number three is my favourite one. If I was to make a suggestion I would like to see a little more at the top of the shot to see where the subject is looking.

Looks like a greatwalk to do :D

G'day,

What a great way to spend Oz day!

#1, I'd crop out the bright part of the walkway at the bottom and also crop out (all of) the blue sky, to have the path going from BL to TR, then the path and the people on it are the only subject and grab the viewer...

#2, love the shot, hard to get the feel of the distance to the view though, dunno if it's the colors or what :? Great angle though...

#3, I agree with Mal in that I think the third just needs more height, I find myself almost crouchign down to see further up the image...
