Hi Owen,

I really like the range of colours going from the yellows of the foreground to the greens then blues. However I found the blue variation in the sky a little off putting (is that the result of a CPL ?) Other then that I like the shot, just pondering your title choice now, if this was the west wall, would the sun be setting in that direction ?

Yes indeed the uneveness is from the polariser filter I used. Now the title, there is a lookout that we passed and viewed the same range, and this is where I got the name (it was either the west front or the west wall) and I think it is named this because it is west of Mt Kosciuszko. That is just a guess though, but I was confused by the name as well

Thanks Owen, I'm glad I'm not the only one confused by the name, I guess a wall has two sides so while it could be a west all, you could be viewing it from the east.. or for that matter whatever direction.
