A couple of candid shots.
and a shot of a young Moslem woman who was watching a busker. The wind caught her scarf and I knew this was the shot I wanted

Love the second shot.
I guess it just goes to show how good a Canon photographer is. You don't even need to own a body to take great images.

Yep, number 2 is great. It has a certain softness about it that I really like, and the sweeping flow of the scarf keeps drawing my eyes back.

I love them both, they have such different feels. The second one is peaceful, the first one is comical. I love the funlovingness of the icecream, contrasting with the stereotype of age, and that shocked look on her face, like the times have just changed too fast, and it just hit her now.

Great shots.. I like the comical symmetry of the first.. A right handed and a left handed (with matching watches!) duo in identical hats eating the same ice cream.
The second shot has the ethereal wistful look

Just one question about the second shot (which I think is a fantastic shot). Did the woman know you took the picture (either before or after you took it).
I'm intersted in the ettiquite in taking candids like this one.

There is always going to be a debate when shooting candid shots whether you should ask first. If I had asked first, you would not see this shot. Most of my candid shots are shot "off the hip" as it were.
