Hi Guys. I was at Kiandra at the snowy mountains and went into the old courthouse there because the door was open. Inside I found this photo opportunity:



It was quite dark inside and we went through a door out to the back which looked to be the main room... while I was in there walking around, I heard two knocks and the back door started to creak open, and I'm not talking a little bit, it opened the whole way. I didn't stick around to see what was coming, but we were the only ones there.

Weird...

Scary stuff, and a forbodeing photo.

The black space at the top of the photo is a tad distracting, have you considered a crop? I wonder what is beyond that door?

Haven't really considered doing much with the photo... mainly wanted to share my ghostly experience. Thanks for looking though guys

The image will bring back memories of your experience so it'll be a good one...

Hmmm, maybe spooky B&W, crop the top, some grain and vignette around the door???

Nice photo Owen - you've captured the Blair Witch atmosphere pretty well

I like it but think it would have looked more sinister if shot from a much lower angle - even from floor level. To me, the high viewpoint shrinks the door visually, reminiscient of Alice in Wonderland..
