Thats a cool photo Gordon, but for some reason the catchlight in the Joey's eyes make it look evil :twisted:

Did you know....and very few do...that the little one is actually carrying the big one on its back? That's how they do it! :shock: :shock: :shock:

Cute moment, lovely creatures... Try playing with the image a bit in PP with levels/curves etc, might give it more "pop"...

One question, why F10?

f/10 because its a nice round number.. :lol:
not really, I reckoned that was enough to keep the wallaby and joey in focus and blur the background a bit, from the distance I was taking it.

I did play with the levels a bit, and settled on its current appearance, I think the subject stands out well from the background and looks natural as it is, and any more contrast and it starts to look fake, IMO. I dont like going too far from how things look naturally for my nature photography... but you're welcome to disagree ;)

time to turn the comp off and head up the hill, theres a storm on its way.
