One of the better flame shots I've seen, although the background is a little distracting. Not sure if you could have repositioned for a better background.
Well done anyway, the movement of the flame has been well captured - looks alive

Very nice, have you tried cropping to a portrait instead of landscape. I like the fact that you've capture the heat waves as well.

Good shot of the flames, nicely exposed and like the tonings and heat shimmer, background doesn't seem to worry me but wonder if it's worth taking the shot from a slightly higher spot, so you background might exclude the bars at the back?

Beautifully 'Lit' pharmer Couldn't resist. Exposure great and the combination of flame and its heat make it quite eye catching but as Sheepie mentioned the background grill is a little distracting.
cheers

As much as I tried, I couldn't help the background
Theres a "fence" that circles the flame, always in the background
Was kinda hoping the flame, heat waves and DOF blurred the background

Pharmer, don't misunderstand mate I know the flame is circled by that damn barrier, but I guess either through a tighter composition or crop, you can help reduce the distraction of the bars Either way it's a nice shot.
