We had a quick stay in Stroud last weekend here are a few shots from around this great little village

I particular like the stained glass (surprise surprise) but also the little mushroom house. Is there a story behind it ?

Hi Craig it is part of a little monastery up the back of Stroud, I believe you can actully rent it out for a night or two, a nun has lived in it for up to 6 months from time to time, it has a small fire place inside, a double bed and a kitchenette, really quite cute

These are a great bunch of pics and it's odd there haven't been more comments. For me #5 and the two stained glass pics work best. That said, the angle of the first stained glass pic is distracting, but I'm guessing you had little choice.

The shot of the church interior is probably the weakest as it's very busy.

What need does a nun have for a double bed?

Once again tremendous eye for detail and thoughtful composition Kevin. The colours,as usual, really have some punch and the sharpness is great. Love both the stained glass images as good examples of above comments

great pics of a really nice spot in the Hunter. Stroud is a beautiful little town, I certainly need to re-visit it now with a camera, thanks for reminding me

I like the third one, and also the stained glass.

Great story also on the "mushroom cottage".
